Last night Zach and I went Christmas caroling with Kidz Kollege (the kids group at church) at a local nursing home. Afterwards, they had a Christmas party for the kids.

When we got back to the church, the parking lot was solid ice. It was quite an experience getting all the kids off the bus and into the church. In the time we went caroling, about 45 minutes, it started freezing rain and it was slick...The police shut down the road a block away from the church, because of an accident and were redirecting traffic. There were 2 accidents in front of the church and someone did a 180 turn! So most of the parents coming to pick up their children were having trouble getting there. They finally got the road open and the salt truck came thru about 8:45. so everyone made it to get their children. Zach and I made it home safely. We didn't have any trouble untill we got into our subdivision...and that was pretty slick,But we made it home safely!!
