Zach went back to the doctor today for more xrays.  His collarbone is starting to heal.  They put him in a figure-8 brace instead of the sling.  This will give him use of both arms now!

He has to wear it day and night for 1 week, then only days for 3 weeks.  He will return for more xrays in 4 weeks.

Soccer

Zach's soccer team had their first game this weekend.   Even though Zach could not play, we went and cheered them on. 

I think he's a little upset that he can't play!

Camping

Mark and Zach went on a cub scout camping trip this weekend.  I was very reluctant about letting Zach go, but since Mark would be there too, we let him go..

They had a good time.  The cub scouts went with the older boy scouts as a learning experience.   Here are some pictures that they took...looks like they got pretty muddy!

Fractured Collarbone

Last night at soccer practice, Zach fell on his shoulder and seemed to be in a lot of pain.  So we took him up to g et x-rays and he had fractured his collarbone.  So now he is in a sling for 3-4 weeks and won't be able to play soccer for a while.  Luckily, this is the beginning of the season, they haven't had any games yet, so he may be able to play towards the end of the season.

1st Day Of School

Today is the 1st day of school.

Balloon Storyteller

The other day we went to the library for a balloon storyteller.  It was cute, he told stories and used balloons.  The last one was the 3 Little Pigs, and he used parents for volunteers.  Zacharey, very loudly, volunteered me....so here I am as the 1st little pig....

Joplin

On Sunday, Zach and I went to Joplin with some other members of our church.  We delivered canned goods and other supplies/money that the kids collected during VBS,
